Musata Kaunda Ndhlovu is a distinguished figure in the Law and Insurance sectors, boasting over a decade of rich professional experience. Her journey is anchored in a solid academic foundation, with an LLB from the University of Essex and an MSc in Insurance and Risk Management from Cass Business School, underscoring her legal acumen.

As an Advocate admitted to the High Court of Zambia, Musata showcases a broad expertise in numerous legal fields, particularly in Corporate and Commercial Law. She is renowned for her skillful navigation of complex commercial agreements, leveraging her strategic negotiation and drafting skills to secure favorable outcomes.

She is recognized for her exceptional ability in managing complex commercial agreements, utilizing her strategic negotiation and drafting skills to consistently achieve favorable outcomes.

Musata’s entrepreneurial zeal is integral to her practice. She excels in advising startups, guiding them from their initial stages through to expansion, and addressing crucial legal aspects such as entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, shareholder rights, and financial regulations.

Her specialization in Commercial and Trust Law enables her to provide pragmatic solutions in dispute resolutions, blending her extensive experience with a deep understanding of Labour Law to serve as an effective advocate in disciplinary and employment law disputes.

Beyond her legal practice, Musata has held significant governance roles. She is currently a Board Member of Zanaco and Phoenix of Zambia Assurance (2009) Limited. Her past governance roles include serving as a former Board Member of the National Savings and Credit Bank (NATSAVE), the Ministry of Tourism Hostels Board of Management (HBOM), and as a member of the Finance, Human Resource, and Administration Committee at the Energy Regulation Board (ERB). These former positions have contributed to broadening her legal perspective, adding a unique mix of practical insight and strategic foresight to her work.
